Configure LAN as Wan Port Netgear Nighthawk RAX70

Is there anyway at all to change to a LAN port to WAN port on the Nighthawk RAX70? My WAN port is dead and ive tried everything to check its not just a software issue. I have reseted the router multiple times and tried multiple cables I know work just fine. Still no connection detected in the WAN port and no LED indication either. No response on my support case after a month and a half so im just looking for any help here now. Anyway to configure, change its mode, or custom firmware that will just let me use the router at all? As of right now its just an expensive paper weight. Any insight is appreciated.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Swap LAN cables between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.

You might contact NG support and ask about an RMA for your router:

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk RAX WiFi 6 Router products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

I don't know if the RAX models have it too, but on my R7800 at http://192.168.1.1/debug.htm there's an option to WAN Port mirror to LAN port1

PatienceIsNeede is more likely to get an answerr ti that in the righy section for the RAX.

In the meantime they could visit the support pages:

        Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

I have tried restarting my network in that order and no luck. The router was working just fine for a couple of months until this issue appeared.

When the issue first started I was on firmware 1.0.3.92 but I've recently updated to 1.0.11.112 to see if it would help at all, but the problem persists.

I did contact Netgear support and have an open support case but it's been over a month and no response from them.

I'll go make a post in that specific community and see if I have any luck with there.

      Thank you.

Be sure you maintain contact with NG support. Keep poking them.
