Select ethernet name on an R7900P Router
When I connect an ethernet cable to this router, it defaults to Netgear93; can I select a different name? If so, how?

- microchip8MasterThanks for providing so much info!
Where do you see that?
Which firmware version?
What device(s) are you plugging in?
Have you looked in http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 ?- i58_JessAspirant
Win11 shows that I am logged into Ethernet to Netgear93. At the same time, I am logged into Wireless SSID i58 (one that I created). What I want to do is log into Ethernet i58 not Netgear93.
I am currently logged into the R7900P.

Disconnect from the SSID on the router or disable the wifi radio on the laptop.
You should be only connecting to one or the other at separate times.

Try this, go into the router and change its name.
In the browser's graphical user interface (GUI):
- Advanced
- Setup
- LAN Setup
- Edit the name
