Allow way to disable 6hz or implement MLO

I own the RS 600 and it is completely unusable in my basement office. My phone always connects to the 6hz network. It shows a strong connection, but my teams calls always end up dropping. Yes, I could break each frequency into its own network, but that defeats the value proposition of the entire router. Just give us a way to disable 6hz or implement MLO.... Please!!!

What FW version are you using?

Is IPv6 and Protection Engine enabled on the router?

Is Smart Connect enabled? Try SC disabled and connect to the 5 or 6Ghz radio.

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

MLO isn't currently supported on RS series routers. Industry known issues with MLO currenlty. NG is aware. No idea when MLO will be forth coming.

Firmware 441596, Protection Engine=on, IPv6=off. I have the problem when using my pixel 9, which connects to 6hz. When I plug a cat5-usb dongle into the phone and run the connection using the wire, no issues. When I fall back to using my pixel 5, it connects to 5hz and no issues. I have the router connected to a TDS fiber modem, I would have to dig up the model number,  but I have a hard  time believing that is the issue because all wired connections work fine.

    Is this perhaps an exaggeration?

    • Pixel 9 works with a wired connection
    • Pixel 5 works because it connects to 5GHz
    • In an "office" I would expect to find some sort of computer that could do Teams meetings

Are Teams meetings the only things that fail with the Pixel 9 when connected at 6GHz?

No. Taking teams calls on my phone makes all kinds of good sense, it allows me to walk around the house. Plugging pixel 9 into a wired connection is called trouble shooting, it allows for narrowing down the problem. You can plug any phone  into a cat5 cable via a USB dongle. What would be my motivation for exaggerating?

Completely unusable sort of implies "it doesn't work at all (in the office).  Not good for anything."  Would it be correct that as long as the Pixel 9 remains in the office that Teams calls work correctly and it is only when the phone moves around the house that there are problems?  i.e. it might be the movement and perhaps the 6GHz signal falling that causes problems?
