Nighthawk RS 700, Can't get 5 gigs out of this router
5 gig service through Frontier Fios, i get 5 gigs through Frontier Fios EERO 7 router, can't get 5 gigs out my Nighthawk RS 700 only getting 4355.78Mbpd Download and 2637.06Mbps Upload, changed ethernet cable to rule that out still nothing. Any suggestions.

Are you supposed to be seeing 5Gb both UP and Down?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.What brand and model# ethernet adapter are you using that's connected to the back of the RS?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.yes 5gigs up and down, don't know the model or brand of Frontiers ONT, will need to open their cabinet on the back side of my house, using new cat6 cable, will try suggestions.

Firmware Version V1.0.7.86_2.0.82
direc cable connect from ONT to router, i disconnected Frontiers EERO 7
will disable Armor, don't have the other 2 items enabled.

Check to see if the CAT6 cable is UTP or STP.
How far is the ONT from the RS?
I would like to confirm if my understanding on the issue is correct.
- For the speed tests with RS700, did you run the speed tests (1) from the RS700's Web GUI or from the Nighthawk App? (2) from a PC connected to the RS700?
- You have disabled these functions: Armor, Smart Parental Controls, Traffic Meter, and QoS, and you still got the same results?

Yes from a PC connected to a port on RS 700 and from Nighthawk app on Iphone 15 pro max and get same results, connect same PC to Frontier EERO Max 7 router with same settings and get 5 gig up and down???
VPN, Armor, Smart Parental Controls, Traffic Meter, QoS, will double check to make sure i disabled them correctly.
