RS 700 will not allow some devices to connect to internet after last firmware update
Updated my RS 700 to 1.0.9.6 and now it takes 2 or 3 reboots for it to sync with the modem and when it does, it will not allow 2 of my devices on the 2.4ghz network to connect to the internet. I’ve replaced those devices with new ones and the same thing happens during setup, the respective tech support teams are at a loss. 5ghz and 6ghz bands seem fine, the 2.4ghz seems to have reduced range. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
So I wound up rolling the firmware back to the previous version and everything started working again. It seems NETGEAR is working the solution and has some trial firmware available

What are these two devices?
What security level is set on the 2.4G WiFi?
(see page 73 of the User Manual https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RS700S/RS700_UM_EN.pdf)
The two are a Rachio sprinkler controller and a Ring Chime…all the other Ring devices work fine security is set to wpa 2&3 personal. Everything was working fine until the firmware update

Try a factory reset and setup from scratch after the FW was updated?

Hello,
I had the same with this last firmware (some devices won't connect).
I have also noticed that the list of the connected devices is completly false: some devices connected using ethernet will appear connected with wifi 6Ghz! Or connected wit 2,4 Ghz will appears connected with 5 Ghz? this bug is not so important but it was ok before.
There was something go: when testing the connection (speedtest) the result was ok and confim that I have 8 GB/8GB, with the previous firware it was less.
Now, I'm back with the previous firmware and it's ok.
Thank you
