RS700S Firmware Version 1.0.10.8 IoT Option Missing
So looking at the change logs for the RS700 you added a new feature,
- Added an IoT network function in the web user interface."
But no matter where I look, I cannot find this option anywhere. Is it because smart connect is disabled?
I updated manually over 1.0.9.16.
IoT is under Advanced > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings. Then you’ll see a tab for IoT Network.

Sadly, based on my preliminary testing, the IoT function is kind of worthless. It doesn't appear to create a dedicated network for IoT devices that CANNOT access my main network. It assigns IP addresses from the main network and after testing it from a computer, I can completely access all my network resources from it. Isn't the point to be isolated from the main network much like the guest network can be?
Finally found it, thanks. Strange place to put it. Surely under the wireless setup page as a new tab or just added to the list of other wireless options on that page would make more sense.
