Yes I do, the media(photo) backup feature is what I use this app for. But it's not always running in the task switcher (maybe somewhere in the background)

Have you checked if it still uses that high percentage when there is no backup running on the ReadyCloud app?
I personally have this app installed on my phone and not getting this battery drain problem.
