Dropbox Sync Not working Continuously shows a Blue Dot

Hi,

I am having an issue with my ReadyNAS 102 with the lattest software (6.10.4) and it's syncronisation with Dropbox. Dropbox and the NAS are correctly authenticated and I can list all the directories when Creating the Sync Session.

However, only about 2/3 of the data is syncronised and then all syncronisation stops effectivly. No new files are added to the nas from dropbox and no new files are added to dropbox from the nas. The total ammount of data that needs to be synced is 1.5TB.

This has been an ongoing issue for the last year with me trying the following:

  • Complete Reset of the NAS and set up all shares again and the Sync
  • Double checked Network confirguation (Static IP address set via the Router & the Nas)
  • Cleared all information from my dropbox account to set up the Sync
  • Cleared the Dropbox account of Files and Reuploaded them via a pc.

Attached is the Log for dropbox.

Any Help with this would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

    Welcome to the Community!

The Blue dot means it is syncing, have you checked what files still needs to be synced? Have you added a DNS Server on the Network settings aside from giving it a static IP address?

Have you tried syncing other shares? or to another Dropbox account?

      Hi Mark_V

There are alot of files that still need to be synced, in the Log that was previously attached you can see errors for the sync.

Yes I have had the DNS set on the Device as 1.1.1.1 & 8.8.8.8 & the Subnet is correct also.

I have also checked the syncing with another account also and it worked but the volume of data would have been lower. I had tried also a couple of different shares setup to sync with theyre own corrisponding folder in dropbox also.

Your help would be gratly appreciated!

      Thanks!
