Google Drive Sync
I recently enabled Google Drive sync and noticed that when I delete something off my local NAS it does not remove it from Google Drive. Everything is done syncing, and if i edit/change a file on my NAS it sycs those changes just fine. I currently have 'upload local storage changes only' enabled. Any ideas how to get this to delete files off Google Drive if they are deleted from the NAS? FW version is 6.10.3
Thanks,
Drew

So I did some testing, with both "upload local storage changes only" & "Bidirectional", and both tests resulted the same:
- Creating file on NAS, sync to Google Drive - WORKS
- Creating file on Google Drive, sync to NAS - WORKS
- Delete file on NAS, sync to Google Drive - DOES NOT WORK
- Delete file on Google Drive, sync to NAS - WORKS
- Create directory on NAS, sync to Google Drive - WORKS
- Create directory on Google Drive, sync to NAS - WORKS
- Delete directory on NAS, sync to Google Drive - WORKS
- Delete directory on Google Drive, sync to NAS - WORKS
- Rename file on NAS, sync to Google Drive - WORKS
- Rename file on Google Drive, sync to NAS - WORKS
That's about every common scenario I could think of. So the functionality of deleting a file off the NAS and having that delete sync to GD is broken. Is there some sort of log I should upload that might make this easier to troubleshoot?

Will do John. I am going to try and test it again in a few days when I get some time :)

Hi ajbarnard1977,
I just tested it the Google Drive sync on our NAS running on 6.10.3 and when I delete files on NAS, it will also delete those files on Google Drive.
You may download the NAS system logs, then check the google-drive.log. You may able to find some clues there.

I have the same problem on both RN204 & RN214, on 6.10.3 and for the same google account drive.
When delete a file on NAS, it is not deleted on the Google side.

Same problem on my RN102, on 6.10.3.
Files upload fine, HOWEVER, when I delete a file on NAS, it is not deleted on the Google side.
PS. The folder sync is set to Bidirectional.

Yeah, they told me to open a support ticket. I have a feeling they just want to charge me support level prices to tell me to factory reset / format the drives :smileymad:
