iPhone, iPad do not see all folders in subdirectory -
Set up ReadyCloud for first real test. Put many folders and subfolders on the NAS. All the folders are there and viewable via Windows Explorer to the NAS devices. Great! Now installed the RCl...
Found an answer, but darned if I know why it works. Hope some techie can tell me.
Works: Copy each folder over, one by one... maybe cheat and 2 at a time.
Not work: Select all, Copy in bulk

Would you please check folder properties->General->attributes->Hidden check box for your none-show-up folders on windows exployer?
I guess "Hidden" check box is checked for it. So you cannot see this folder via IOS readycloud app.
If you want to see it, you can uncheck "Hidden" option for this folder on windows exployer.

Nope. Checked that long ago. Nothing hidden on the attributes as verified via Windows explorer. That was one of my first suspicions. However, even that was not a strong suspicion since ALL folders were able to be seen when viewed directly via Windows Explorer over to NAS. The "no see" was entirely related to the Apple APP.
Recall the oddity: iDevices only > 1) show only 40 of the 42 folders. 2) then none 3) then when copy them over 1 x 1 all show up in the iphone / ipad's ReadyCloud app. So, easy answer of a hidden not make sense as the result was inconsistent.

What is your nas's firmware version? And what is your apple App version?
Which method do you use to copy the folders? Via windows exployer? or via 192.168.1.3 /admin > Shares > MyStuff>Pictures admin page?
I just find that when copy folders via admin Page, the hidden option for folder is unchecked. Via windows exployer, the hidden option for folder would keep.
Used latest firmware update
Copy methods:
Massive – all folders at one time - FREEFILE SYNC - easy app to make mirrors to another place
One at a time: Windows explorer
Most interesting experiment that worked and did not mention before:
Used freefilesync to copy \\gear\mystuff\mypictures >> \\gear\home\myemail@gmail.com
No problems all there, all viewable on Apple device RCloud !
Therefore, this must be directly related to the folders themselves AND the Apple APP only
So, now copied back, one by one, back to the \\... Mystuff and all was file
Then copied back one by one to the \\gear\MyPictures... And all was fine again !
All this lead me to conclusion it must be interrelated directly to the folders themselves AND the Apple APP only. Darned if I know what J
