Network card failue after upgrade
I have two ReadyNas drives. I upgrades my 312 based on the prompt without any issues but when I did the same thing to the 214, the network cards failed. The display said, no IP addres. What I have...

update:
RAIDar does not discover the NAS
Resetting the cable mobel has no effect
disconecting the network cable has no effect
moving a network cable from a valid machine has no effect

Did you try powering down the RN214 and then restarting it?

yes I tried power and recycle. It had no effect.

Try powering down, removing the disks, and then power up.

prior to shut down, I had green numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 disk activity led dark
shut down returns status code of "do_exit+9ec"
pulled power cable
pulled drives
put drives back
waited 30 seconds
powered back up
green light on 1,2,3,4 flashing green disk activity LED
Wireshark shows no traffic on prior dynamic IP
no recorded devices matching the NAS name on IP list
