No readycloud device managed by your netgear account? (second account loses contact)
Please can someone help me? Myself and my partner have been using readycloud without problem for as long as i can remember, but since the update to 6.5.0 its a total disaster. Basically my user account is fine and can see the NAS on the portal. For some reason hers can not and get the titled message.
So i removed her from the NAS and resent the invite, she clicks the link and it does the usual handshake and then she can get in and see the NAS. the next day she will go to the portal and its back to the above message (tried about 5 times now). I have tried reinstalling the OS and removing my account and re-adding. if i change permissions it does not bring back the nas for her, the only way to get it back is to remove her email and re-invite.
Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks
John

Hi JohnL83,
Welcome to the community!
This problem that you guys are experiencing is unusual. Have you thought about changing her e-mail address or creating another account for her? Also, can you tell us if her e-mail address is longer than 32 characters and been used as an e-mail address by one of your local ReadyNAS users?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Hi Brian,
Thank you for getting back to me. Her email address is 18 characters and used to be the same as one of the local users but i changed this when the upgrade to 6.5.0 completed so not to confuse matters. I was hoping not to have to create a new account but if thats the only way to solve this? Or is it at least possible to delete her account and create a new one with the same email address?
it seems to be unlinked from her account the next day after i re add it, no matter what time in the day previous, its gone as soon as the NAS has booted up in the morning.
thanks
John

Hi JohnL83,
Does .org part of the domain name of her e-mail address? If possible, let's try to use a newly created account just to check if the behavior is consistent to secondary or invited users.
Kind regards,
