READCLOUD NOT SYNCING FOLDERS

My ReadyNAS desktop client is not syncing the changes i make to the original folder.

The desktop client indicates the folder is sync'd but the files in the NAS does not coorespond with the files in the original folder.

I get the green check mark, but when I compare the files in the two folders I see files in the original folder that are NOT in the NAS, and I also see files on the NAS that are NOT in the original folder...although the latter could be due to me deleting files on the computer, but I would have though when I delete from the original location it would be deleted from the NAS also.

Anyone have any idea what is happening?

Regards!

    Backup PC folder:

copy data to you local folder, the new data will sync to NAS share

delete data in your local folder, the data will not be deleted in NAS share.

delete data in your NAS share, the data will not be deleted in local folder.

    Sync with PC

Desktop client will create a local folder in c drive of Windows.all the data change in both sides will be synced, you should use Sync with PC to instead of Backup PC folder.

    Hello  GPSIS_HQ

Is your share created by “Backup PC folder"?ReadyCLOUD client only sync data bidirectionally if your share was created by  "Sync with PC" .

      Hello Deniro,

Yes I used the Backup PC Folder link at the bottom of the desktop client.

That answers why they are not equal, but raises 2 questions:

1] Why aren't my changes to my original computer folders being shown in the NAS?

2] How do I setup Sync With PC folders? Backup PC Folder option is quite simple...clicking the ink and all.

      Regards!
