The NV+ cannot run ReadyNAS OS 6 and thus cannot be used with ReadyCLOUD.
You can continue to use ReadyNAS Remote with the old Remote accounts with your NV+ units.

Hi, TYpically - why do Netgear send out emails telling you to upgrade when clearly I should not have.
As I have migrated my accounts over teh readycloud, I cannot assess the remote ready utility/log onto the devices.
Do you know how to re-establish the remote ready applicaitons? - re register under a new account?

You should still be able to use the old Remote accounts with the Remote apps (you can't use the ReadyCLOUD apps with your NV+). Do those no longer work for you? You could try with the password you set for the NETGEAR account if the old Remote account password doesn't work.
It may be that you had a NETGEAR account already or that you had a router that works with ReadyCLOUD. The changes affect more than just NAS users.

Hi,
The router is a BT unit. I have tried all my passwords/log in's and non of them work - it says that there is no user registerd? is it because i migrated them over? Do you thnk it would work if I created a new user on the NV+ then snet an invite to the "new" person and re-registerd for a ReadyNas Remote account?

Are you using your ReadyNAS Remote apps or the ReadyCLOUD app? You must use the Remote app.
If you really want to you could create a new Remote account, but that shouldn't be necessary. - DeeperdownMay 20, 2016Tutor
Very Strange - it now works - I wonder of there was a lag in the crossover to the new credentials??
it worked with my original user name and new password for ReadyCloud.
thanks for your time to reply - it is grealty appreciated.
