ReadyCLOUD Services offline

A while a go I set up the ReadyCLOUD service from my mac and for a brief period I did have a stable connection but now I only get Services Offline, I've tried to reinstall the App and start the reinstallation, but every time I try to discover the NAS drive, it can never find it, inputting the serial number makes no difference, yet RAIDar has no problem in identifying the NAS.  Tried pressing the Backup button for 5 seconds  and then retrying, nothing!

I am using a ReadyNAS 202, currently on Firmware 6.5.1, Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 tried using Safari and Chrome browsers.

Any ideas what I'm supposed to do now.

Thanks in advance.

Heath

Google's public DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 belong to Level 3 Communications. I don't think Level3 has published them as open servers (at least I've seen no clear statement from them), though many people might be using them.

    Hi HeathM,

There is a possibility that the ReadyNAS is not reaching our cloud servers. In most cases, setting a public DNS resolves it. Try using DNS' like 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 or Google's public DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Please check the link below on how to configure Ethernet interface on your ReadyNAS OS6:

Many thanks, input the values for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively and ReadyCLOUD is now back online.

      Cheers
