ReadyCLOUD offline

I have been reading all of the "ReadyCLOUD offline" issues and have not read any discussion about the "Internet Available" and "Services Online" indicators not even showing.

Is the ReadyCLOUD an APP that needs to be installed? If so, why does the On/Off switch show in the Cloud tab?

Has anyone experienced these indicators not even showing?

The below images show my System tab with firmware version and the Cloud tab with the missing indicators.

  • The solution is: it required Support to login and get leafp2p running because it was not starting.

I do not know exactly what they did to make that happen, but this is what gives you the green check/red X status indicators. If this is not running, ReadyCLOUD is disabled as mine was.

  • Some additional notes:

I can ssh to it and ping the outside world so I know it has internet access.

I can only discover it in http://readycloud.netgear.com/client/index.html#page=discoverdevices when I enter the serial number. It is not being found when I press the backup button for 5 seconds and then select retry.

The serial number on the System tab matches the serial number in the unit.

    IPv6 is disabled.

IPv4 is set to static 192.168.0.38, 255.255.255.0 subnet mask and 192.168.0.1 router. DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 & 4.4.4.2

        Hello shcottyb,

What exactly happens when you turn ON ReadyCloud in the admin page?

        Regards,

      Hello shcottyb,

Have you tried on a different web browser? Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc. It is normal that is grayed out but it should be clickable. What do you see when you click Settings button?

      Regards,

        Every browser looks the same.

Look at the second image I posted in the original post, the other 4 ON/OFF switches are greyed out, but ReadyCLOUD is disabled.

        Here are my ReadyCLOUD settings:

PROXY is unchecked and all fields are empty

SECURITY has Specify Port Incoming Connections checked, Protocol=TCP, Port=6300 and Encryption is NOT checked
