ReadyCLOUD is Offline
A week or two ago I had been unable to use ReadyCloud for a few weeks. The problem seemed to be fixed and I was using it successfully.
Today (February 24) when I tried to get onto ReadyCloud I got the message that the NAS was offline. When I returned to check on the situation I am now getting the messages "Offline" and "Services Available."
Any ideas on what's going on and/or how to fix this?
Thank you.
Hi everytime,
Do you have a DNS (like 8.8.8.8) added in the active NIC/s on your ReadyNAS? Have you tried logging in/out your ReadyCLOUD admin under the Cloud tab? Perhaps, rebooting the system or network would help.
Kind regards,

NETGEAR Community TeamHi. Thanks. It has been working fine with no DNS Servers listed, but I tried your first suggestion. I added 8.8.8.8 as a DNS Server under IPv4. Then I went to the Cloud screen and it showed "Internet Available" and "Services Available."
I don't understand it, but adding that server seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you again for your assistance.

Hi everytime,
You're welcome! It would be better if that DNS server stays on in your system.

Hi, ReadCloud is Offline and if I try to turn it on it asks me for the user ID and psw, after entering my admin credentials it says "the user already exists, try again using a different user name". If I enter a brand new user ID and psw it gives a "Registration Error". Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi handroid,
Welcome to the community!
Try the suggestion I gave previously.

Hi BrianL,
I tried your suggestion but it did not work. For the record, it says Internet and Services are available.
Could you confirm that when turning ReadyCloud on the account information to be used is the one which was first used to register the RN316 on the ReadyCloud site, which btw I can user to connect to the site fine.
Is it normal that it says “User already exists” when I enter it?
Is it normal that it says Registration Error when entering a new user?
Thanks,
