readycloud software
If you invite someone to access a share remotely do they need to download any software to access it? I have clients that are not very technical and while I would like to have my own nas setup to sha...

I don't yet have a ready cloud capable NAS. I am on a NV+ v1 which isn't compatible with ready cloud. so I am thinking of upgrading. So I guess the answer is yes OS 6.
My use would be more along the lines of...
I have a client that needs to view the latest version of a video, and I have it on my NAS, then from what you are saying I would invite them and they would have to create an ready cloud user via the website, then they would only have access to the shares I have invited them too.
does that sound right to you?
I use dropbox at the moment to full fill this job but I wonder if it would be faster to have my NAS hooked up to my CPU so I can copy the video over via ethernet (or similar), there by saving the time it takes me to upload to the dropbox server. Am I barking up the wrong tree here?
