Readynas Duo v2 enable remoteaccess service like a readycloud service
Hello Team
(* first of all, i know about eol remoteaccess service on RND OS5 and about lack of support Readycloud on it.)
i have ReadyNas DUO v2, OS RAIDiator 5.3.13, 2HDD * 2TB X-Raid
But, until last week (~ 11/23/2020), the Readycloud service worked fine for me. The application was installed on the iphone (ios 12) Readycloud version 1.5.6, users were registered in the remoteaccess system on ReadyNas (accounts are active.) And the saving of photos from phones was successful. Unfortunately there was a failure while updating the Debian application and I had to restore the factory settings on Readynas. And that's it, the Remoteaccess window is inactive, it is impossible to add users, there is no registered device in the application on the iphone. It's a shame, the service worked perfectly. Perhaps there is an opportunity or solution to restore access? may be in manual mode (using commands) register device and users so that the readycloud system can see the device
thanks
Gregory

I don't think so. Netgear kept replicate for quite a while, and I believe that needed the remote VPN. But they said they would finally shut it down on 31 October this year (and likely kept it up a bit longer than that).
You'll need to find another method for remote access. Given that the NAS hasn't gotten a security update in some years, I suggest that you look into using a VPN (and not forward ports to it). That might require getting a new router (many, including Netgear Nighthawk and Orbi models have openVPN built in).

It's a pity that everything is like this. I really enjoyed working with readycloud on iphone and ReadyNas duo v2. Photos were automatically uploaded to the server.
I will look for an alternative solution for linking with the iphone

If you have an always-on PC, you could try Resilio Sync. That can automatically back up the photos to a folder on the PC (which can be set up to be a share on the NAS). You can use it to transfer files from the NAS to the phone.
There are other options of course, but that is one I use (for Android, but it also can be used with iPhone).
