ReadyNAS Online (VPN Disconnected)
Hi, I have two RN10222D ReadyNAS units, one at my home and the other at my office. I have ReadyCloud Windows app installed on my home computer, office computer and laptop. From either home or offi...

This has also been a constant issue for me since buying two 314s, both of which are situated in a major office building connected to cinenet. Firmware on both has been 6.2.4 since I first set them up.
My personal computer in particular seems to have the worst of it. It used to connect to the backup NAS VPN, but never the primary one (ReadyCloud file access is never a problem). However, it has been months since it will connect to either. I am currently on the beta app mentioned above, have port 6300 forwarded, and have performed multiple reinstalls of Windows 8.1 and 10 in recent months. I've also used a variety of network adapters, and many different Internet connections.
When I install the app on other computers it has no consistent results, usually connecting to only one of them at best. I think I once connected to both through a friend's laptop early on, but the situation seems to have become worse over time.
Restarting the NAS boxes also has no reliable impact on the situation, and neither does turning the ReadyCloud service off and back on.
I also disabled Avast and restarted the app, to no avail.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome.

Installing the latest release versions of firmware and ReadyCloud client has allowed me to successfully establish a VPN to both NAS boxes at the same time. I had to turn the cloud services off and back on for one of them, but this is extremely encouraging.

Just as a further follow up: At least one NAS still won't establish a VPN connection after it reboots. However, it does always seem to work after then disabling and re-enabling the remote services.
The problem with that (besides being tedious) is that I can only do so if I remote into a local online computer in the office. I may attempt a OS reinstall to see if that resolves it. I would have suspected that's what the firmware upgrade did in the first place though.

Netgear: Any permanent solution to this problem (other than installing some previous beta version)?? People depend on these devices to run a business. Not being able to access them remotely is going to lean people to drop Netgear for another solution. Please provide a solution that works (all the time). I have been following this post for some time and have yet to have a good fix that works all the time. I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 4.
