I don't recognize "btsync". When my point is the lack of documentation, why don't you point me to documentation on "btsync" instead of saying "it might work"????
On the CLOUD tab, I only see admin as a user. Add User button tells me to register using ReadyCloud.
The quagmire: Trying to login to ReadyCloud desktop app. I cannot create the user Mary; I get a message user already exists. Attempting to create another user, Joel, I get a message that my email address has already been taken, I am assuming by Mary. I cannot login to Mary because it I get a message that the User Name and Password do not exist.
Today I tried to attach a jpeg of the local error message, but the Attach Picture button on the forum does not have a browse button today to get to a file. I swear there was a way to browse to a file here yesterday. You were able to see my attachment. Now it just asks for a source and I could not get it to attach a picture.

Hello Jr12,
In the admin page of the ReadyNAs, when you click Cloud tab you will see ReadyCloud, ReadyDrop, ReadyNAS Replicate and ReadyNAS Remote. Mdgm was asking if the ReadyCloud is turned ON, if so, what username is it using? You may verify that by click Settings button of the ReadyCloud, you will see the username it is using. This username/account is the main ReadyCloud account the ReadyNAS is using and you should use when you log in to readycloud.netgear,com. This readycloud.netgear.com is the link where you will add/invite users to access the ReadyNAS or the shares.
Also, take note of the case sensitivity of the username, if you have seen Mary (with big letter M) then login to readycloud.netgear.com as Mary. Same with ReadyCloud account creation, take note of the case sensitivity of the username.
Try going to ReadyCLOUD FAQ too for more information.
Regards,

I don't have any new information, really. I am still in the same situation. I have a readycloud account. I can reach my readynas by logging into readycloud from a browser, local PC and my IPAD.
I cannot get the local PC to regonize my readynas readycloud client v1.9. When I login, I receive the message "currently have no registered devices". There are very few options at this point, 3 network options and 3 general options under settings.
Logging out and back in again does not help. The user name and password are typed in correctly and the correct case. Just as when I login through my browser.
I am hoping that the local PC app is where I setup backups and automatically sync files. If I am mistaken, I will have to settle for the very limited with ridiculous methosd of settup for the backup provided from the administration page. Here, I have to manually name folders and files to exclude those that I am not interested in. No way to browse the disk or directories.
JR.
