Unable to access Admin page on RN104 since upgrade to 6.2.2
Hi Just noticed I am unable to access the admin page and receive the error
"Google Chrome's connection attempt to IP was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured". FF and IE just say unable to connect.
I can ping the IP fine and the shares are available via the android app but not the readycloud website which sees the top level folders but when you try to enter into them it just reloads the device icon.

- kevroy314AspirantI'm having the issue described in this forum, but I just get Connection Refused in putty. I don't believe SSH is enabled on my device. Any other suggestions?
- Retired_MemberFIXED! I've got it working again. I kept reading posts expecting someone else to have found the issue. All I had to do was track Super-Poussin's replies to others.
Super is truly Super! See here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=79395
So my fix was once I was connected to via SSH to type: rm 090-osticket.conf :slap:
Then reboot and DONE!
So here are the steps listed out.
WINDOWS USERS:
Download Putty here: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe
Putty Config
1. Host Name = IP Address or SHARE NAME of ReadyNAS
2. Port 22
3. Select SSH
4. Select Open
5. Login- 5a. user = root
5b. password = {your administrator password}
6. Navigate to /etc/apache2/sites-enabled- 6a. Type cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
6b. Type ls to list the various files or folders
7. Remove the 090-XXXXXXX file of the uninstalled application
Type rm 090-[filename]- 7a. Firmware upgrade file = 090-BZEEETR6
7b. Photo application file = 090-photos2.conf
7c. OS Ticket application file = 090-osticket.conf
7d. etc...
8. Reboot the ReadyNAS- 8a. Press the power button 4 times until it shuts down
9. Turn on ReadyNAS via power button.
10. Open web browser and attempt to connect to Admin GUI - Retired_MemberAHA! You are a beautiful person Super-poussin! Thank you!
This is why I shouldn't be in via SSH ;)....
okay next question... All i see are the following:- 000-fv-http
- 000-fv-https
- 090-osticket.conf
- 090-photos2.conf
I do not see any references to BZEEETR6.
What next? - 000-fv-http
- super_poussinVirtuosoreplace admin user with root when U use SSH and use admin password
- Retired_MemberSo I've run into the same issue.
Events leading up to Issue:- Ran update to 6.2.2 this morning
- Noticed Snapshots were all gone ( separate issue I believe tied to the power schedule ( my mistake, I learned how to correct the issue form the forums.))
- Uninstalled app OS Ticket
- No longer able to access Admin GUI from IP or Share name
- Reboot = no success
- OS reinstall = no Success
- Ping IP = success response
- Ping SHARE NAME = success response
- FTP access = success
- SMB access = Success
I could not confirm if SSH was enabled prior to the issue, as to NetGear tech support some years ago stating to not enable unless you know what you are doing.... I never know what I'd doing. I read the manuals and then push buttons until I get what I was hoping for :D .- I downloaded and configured PUtty to SSH to the Share name via port 22
- I type in admin account information
- I get response of connection closed by remote host.
Am I hosed?
I don't know what steps to try next or where to look in the manuals for guidance. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!! - Ran update to 6.2.2 this morning
- super_poussinVirtuosoif you have ssh access go in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled and remove the 090-XXXXXXXX file where XXXXXX contain BZEEETR6 and reboot the nas
it's a firmware issue - NhellieVirtuoso
mdgm wrote: This looks like the problem after uninstalling an app, in this case bzeeetr6. Should be working fine now.
Is this a known issue? What are the fixes or workarounds maybe?
