Using SSH through Readycloud
Am looking to make a secure connection (SSH) to my NAS through readycloud. My ISP charges too much for a perminent IP address, and I don't feel that it would be worth the money to go that way. Power outages and other random causes keep changing my assigned IP address through my ISP. Does anyone know of a way to use SSH and Readycloud in unison? I want to use ConnectBot through Readycloud to save a little money. I'am new at this, but I hope I explained my situation well enough to be understood! Any help would be appreciated!

What you really want is a free DDNS hostname. You can get that at noip.com. Then you can use the dynamic IP address you have now, and still reach the NAS remotely using the ddns name.

I don't think there is any way to do that. ReadyCloud does have a built-in VPN, but it is not configured to carry SSH.
ZeroTier would be a solution here, as would other VPN's. I like ZeroTier because it lives in concert with the standard internet connection rather than replacing it, much the same way ReadyCloud does but without adding another level of user interface.
