Using SSH through Readycloud
Am looking to make a secure connection (SSH) to my NAS through readycloud. My ISP charges too much for a perminent IP address, and I don't feel that it would be worth the money to go that way. Power...

What you really want is a free DDNS hostname. You can get that at noip.com. Then you can use the dynamic IP address you have now, and still reach the NAS remotely using the ddns name.

I don't think there is any way to do that. ReadyCloud does have a built-in VPN, but it is not configured to carry SSH.

ZeroTier would be a solution here, as would other VPN's. I like ZeroTier because it lives in concert with the standard internet connection rather than replacing it, much the same way ReadyCloud does but without adding another level of user interface.
