Asterisk app missing critical lib module
Hi guys
The Asterisk app installs fine, but the SIP functionality is non-existent as it appears the chan-sip module is missing from the package.
I have re installed in case it was an install glitch, but it appears to definitely be missing.
Cheers

- kedarAspirantThanks. The system will be running. I will take next step after getting your observations.
- kedarAspirantasterisk-app_1.0.6_all.deb package contains 10.0.0 version of Asterisk which supports SIP (chan_sip), mgcp, skinny (Cisco) and IAX protocols but does not support H323 (deprecated).
- chopsywaAspirantGreat I will install it and let you know how it goes. Is there any way to install this package on the 4.x versions of Readynas?
Thanks Kedar. - chopsywaAspirantMajor disappointment.
I just installed the Asterisk app again, configured it up, added a SIP extension to test and it failed.
No SIP!
I checked the version and it is still 1.0.4.
