AWS cloud sync

Hello,

I signed up for Amazon cloud storage so that I can have files backed up to cloud.  It works great, except for one thing.  When i sometimes go and clean up my NAS (delete unwanted files), it doesn't delete them on the Amazon cloud drive.  Actually, it downloads that file from the cloud to my NAS!  This is not desireable, since it means I can never get rid of jumk.  Is there something I'm missing or is this just how it works?

    Hi prashant11,

As far as I know, Amazon cloud sync is two-way sync and if my understanding of it is correct; the most recent change/deletion from one side should sync to the other side.

Have you made some tests? Like what if you deleted a file on the Amazon cloud, would it show on the NAS? Also, try adding files on the NAS and see if it will be created on the Amazon cloud.

    Regards,

So for some reason it kept downloading things from AWS to the NAS once I deleted it on the NAS, but I did a code upg to the latest, and now it is working as it should.

      Appreciate your reply.  Thanks.
