Logitech Media Server for Readynas 212 ARM Firmware 6.60 - clear installation instructions?
I have just switched from an old Readynas Duo to the Readynas 212, and am appreciating the step change in performance.
However I want to stream my FLAC audio library to my Logitech Squeezboxes over my network. Where can I find a version of the Logitech Media Server that works and clear installation instructions? I have looked at the various threads but they do not appear to have this basic information. The old Slimserver instructions were so easy to follow.
Thanks for your help.
Peter
I finally removed the version of LMS 7.9 from Nastools and installed this one instead from GitHub
Initially it gave the same error message but after a few minutes it spontaneously started and I have now restored full Logitech Media Server functionality to my ReadyNAS plus Logitech Squeezboxes.
Thanks for the help.
Best regards
Peter

Hi Petros265,
I do not have the step by step guide on it. But you could probably start with the following links:
Guide on how to download and install apps locally.
Then get the actual app from the link below:
Community app compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0

Thanks for the very helpful reply. Have uploaded the LMS NT 7.9 package which installs automatically. However when I try to start it, it immediately crashes. Once it got as far as giving an error message about 'Empty ...'.
I have tried rebooting, deleting and reinstalling but it sill sits there refusing to Turn on or launch.
Any ideas gratefully received.
Peter
