ReadyNAS Ultra 6 SNMP addon
Hi all,
I have had to reset my ReadyNAS Ultra 6 to defaults, and have lost the SNMP addon. I cannot locate it on my own PC, or on any of the forums. I have searched for hours with no success. Would anyone out there have the .bin file still available and be able to post it or email it to me please?
Thanks in advance.
Hello mdshelton123,
Stephen is right, we've seen the link you gave but you already have updated the firmware to OS6.
I've requested the topic to be moved from archives to available in the community. Here it is: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Community-Add-ons/SNMPon-0-1-1/td-p/789452

Hello mdshelton123,
Welcome to the community!
I don't remember seeing an SNMP add-on for legacy units.
You might want to check NAS monitor add-on from the community add-ons, I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but sounds like.
You may also want to try the steps at How do I configure SNMP settings on my ReadyNAS 1500, 2100, 3100, 3200, 4200, NVX, Pro 2, Pro 4, Pro 6, or Pro Business storage system? article, see if you ahve that option on your ReadyNAS, make sure you have the latest firmware.

Thanks for the welcome JennC,
I was a member of this forum a few years back but couldnt dig up my login details!
There definitely was an addon, I recall it was not easy to find. It was called SNMPOn and version was something like 0.0.1. The closest I got to it recently was a thread which posted this link:
http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=47411
Unfortunately the link points to an archive area and I couldnt get access to it.
So I have ended up upgrading the ReadyNAS Ultra6 to OS6. it appears to be working well and there is an addon for SNMP which I will try and get working after I have finished setting up the shares/permissions etc on the new OS.
Thanks anyway!
