Transmission 3.00.6: how to change download complete folder?
Hi, In order to view and edit the file settings.json, i reset the user permission of the folder "Transmission". I edited the file settings.json "download-dir" to change the folder when file download...
Was the torrent already running when you tried to change the path in settings.json? Also, I think its best to stop Transmission whilst editing the settings file.
If you use a gui like Transmission Remote Gui, you can change both the download path easily*. Also once a Torrent has started, you can change the path per torrent.
