3tb esternal USB hard drives under 4.2.17

As mentioned, over 2tb support requires GPT partitions.
Unfortunately xp does not support GPT partitions, you must use vista/win7, or linux or mac to partition for GPT.
@ davidarky, if you have an NV+, the nv+/duo does NOT support GPT partitions, so the 3tb+ drives will NOT work.
If you want to backup using the 3tb drive, you will have to attach it to a PC/MAC that is compatible with 3tb drives, then backup over the network to the PC with the usb drive attached.
