3TB USB HDD on ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus
I have a 3TB Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 SATA drive thats in a USB 3.0 bay. When I connect it to my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus with RAIDiator 4.2.22 it is not recognized. dmesg output on the ReadyNAS is below.
I have already returned the drive and got another identical one, same behavior. I am going to try another USB bay today to see if that resolves it. Maybe this is a driver issue. Suggestions?

- blusk06Tutoralso I have installed parted. when I do a "parted /dev/sde1" it just hangs. "fdisk -l" doesn't even show sde.
