Your logs show that your UPS is detected fine.

Yes, after I manually unplugged the USB plug to the UPS at the back of the RN104 and plugged it back in to force a redetection. If I did a power-cycle or a restart now, the UPS would not be detected and I would need to unplug and plug the USB cable again to force it to detect. Hope this makes sense.

Can you reboot, then save the logs and re-send them. It may give a better overview on what is it doing during boot process.
