A few users have tested 4TB drives and found them to work fine on the latest firmware (need 4.2.16 or later)

A Hitachi 4TB drive has just been released. NetGear should test this drive. If compatibility issues are found they should be resolvable by a firmware update.

So yes 4TB drives will be an option in the future. Just not yet. Stick to http://www.ReadyNAS.com/hard_disk_hcl
  • Thank you for quick response. :P :P
