APC UPS Via Network

Hi There,
I have a ReadyNas NV+ (RAIDiator Version 4.1.10) connected to my network along with a Windows 2003 Server and a Qnap TS-219P II Nas.
I also currently have an APC Back-UPS Pro 900 which feeds all three devices.
I have connected the one and only USB connection from the UPS to the Qnap for monitoring and graceful shutdowns which works fine.
As the Qnap is compatible with NUT (Network UPS Tools), I have also installed Win NUT Version 2.0.0.4 on the 2003 Server so now the server can also see the UPS via the Qnap (via the network) and will perform a graceful shutdown when the mains fails.

My Question is, could I configure the Readynas in some fashion to see the UPS either via the network or via NUT or even via the Windows 2003 server so that I can also have it shutdown gracefully.
I have already tried all the options in the Readynas> System> Power> UPS Configuration screen.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try doing this in the reverse? That is, connecting the UPS to the ReadyNAS and monitoring on the Qnap and Windows server?

You'd use the ReadyNAS IP as the address, Name=UPS, User=monuser, Password=pass

ReadyNAS assumes these values, so you could also try configuring the QNAP to use them (leaving the UPS connected to the QNAP).
