Can I install Plex on my readynas? Firmware 6.9.2 readynas Pro
Shoudl this be in the app store on the unit itself or does it take more work to install this?
Are there any instructions if so?

You should be able to install Plex Media Server on your Pro 6 running OS 6 firmware. You just need to go to https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/ choose NETGEAR as platform and select Intel 6.x.

If by "Pro" you mean the older Pro Pioneer or Pro Business Edition and you plan to have the NAS do any video transcoding, you will likely want to upgrade the processor and memory. If it's the newer "Pro6", then just increasing memory is advised.
