Can I move my 4 hard drives from a Readynas nv+ to a Readynas 204?
I currently have data on a readynas nv+, can I buy a readynas 204 and put the drives I have in the nv+ into the 204 and access the data? If not is there a nas I can buy that will allow this?

Is there a problem with your NV+ or is it still working?
It's not that straightforward. The NV+ used a different RAID format, filesystem and CPU architecture.
If you bought a RN214 and wished to move your disks across you could follow these instructions: ReadyNAS: Migrating disks from RAIDiator 4.1 or RAIDiator 5.3 to ReadyNAS OS 6
You would need somewhere to backup your data to.
If the NV+ is still working it'd be much simpler to run some backup jobs to copy the data across to a new unit: How do I back up data from a RAIDiator 4 system to a ReadyNAS OS 6 system?
