Can I move my disk drives from a failed ReadyNAS NVX to a ReadyNAS Pro 6v2
I have a 6 year old readyNAS NVX which has just failed. Not clear why but just won't start at all. Rather than attempting to fix I'm thinking to buy a second hand case and slot the existing 4 dri...

Any NAS that ran 4.2.x should work.
However second hand units may be in questionable condition and there would be no NETGEAR support for it.
You may prefer to get a new x86_64 ReadyNAS e.g. RN314, RN316 or RN516 and follow this guide: ReadyNAS: Migrating disks from RAIDiator to OS 6
