Can not connect to my NetGear Ready NAS Duo V1 (RND2000)

Hello,

I'm new here.

I have some problems with mij NetGear Ready NAS DUO V1.
I give my NAS a Factory reset.
After reset the NAS has get a DHCP adres.
I can ping this adres.
But i cannot connect to this IP adres. I cannot connect any menu of my NAS.
The powerbutton is blinking.
The 'ACT' led is blinking.

I have tried with and without the disks.
Please help... Does anyone have a solution?

  • You can't connect to the menu unless disks are installed and functioning.  If you are doing initial setup (or a factory default), the system might still be setting up the RAID array.  It generally will be non-responsive for a while when it is doing that.

Try using RAIDar on a PC, it should be able to discover your NAS and give you some basic status. https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads

Also, there could be some information in the blinking leds.  Here's the decoder ring:

LED blink behavior for 2 disk systems is three quick blinks of all disk LEDs and the backup LED, followed by an 1s delay, followed by a number of slow blinks. The number of slow blinks will be the error code.

    Current error codes:
    1 - Vendor mismatch
    2 - No disks detected
3 - Bad contents on root partition of disks
    4 - Flash error
    5 - Unsupported RAID configuration
