cannot access eSATA drives
Hello, I have an external eSATA drive connected to my ReadyNAS RN204 and although the web access sees the driv and it shows the volume information, I cannot access it in order to save files to it...a...
Hi GPSIS_HQ
You will have to create a volume or use it for expansion in order to be able to use the disk space, it is currently inactive (Grayed out) It will also not show on the device list under Windows, only on the ReadyNAS Admin page where it also shows the EDA500 expansion chassis.
I suggest creating a new volume out of it by selecting the disk and create new volume as JBOD see Volume Expansion info. See Create Volume on ReadyNAS OS 6 for creating a volume on the ReadyNAS OS 6 system.
