Can't manage my ReadyNAS102

Hallo there,

I'm sorry if this problem is there solved somewhere, but my english is not so good to find it.

If I want to manage my Ready NAS102 from page readycloud.netgear.com (where it was finded by S.N.) I have to put there account name and passworwd. In instalation guide I find it is "admin" and "password". But it doesn't works.

If I want to upgrade firmware (on OS 6.2.5) (that was recomanded in some discussion), my computer writes me: (sorry its translate from czech) There are problems with connection of file.

If I want to instal ReadyCloud on my PC, in begining of instalation it writes: "Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files (x86)\NETGEAR\Remote\bin\inregasm.exe   Click Abbort to stop the installation ..."

If I click Retry its going again and again, if I click Ignore then installation continues to the finish, but program is only initializing and do nothing.

For info: When I opened my NAS in home network I find other files then .jpg (and folders) today first time after one month after tranfering all my work there (.raw, .psd, .tif)

OS Win10 x64 and I tryed it also with all protection turned off.

I'm photographer not an IT, so please by kind with terms :-)

Thank you very much for help

Michal

Re : RN10200 Cannot login to admin, Unable to reset Password

OK you need to perform a OS Re-install as shown on Page 19 here

This will reset the user login//password to the default values.

      These are:

      Login: admin

      Password: password

It will also change some of your Internet protocol settings to defaults

DO NOT perform a Factory Default as it will delete all of your data

And it helped fix all my problems.

Thank you very much mdgm and bedlam1
