Changed to DHCP and now RAIDar isn't seeing ReadyNAS

After months of trouble-shooting to regain access to my ReadyNAS NV, I was finally able to login to the admin panel.  Apparently the differing IP address on the drive (versus the IP addresses on my network) prevented me from accessing it previously.  I was advised to change the IP configuration to DHCP so that it could automatically change the IP based on the network.  But now I can't access the drive, RAIDar doesn't see it at all, and I have no idea what the new IP address is.  I selected DHCP from the Mac network settings to see if it would identify what the new address is, but when I try that IP address, it won't connect.  I should have left it alone and simply got my data off the drive before making this change.  Ahh!

Please help!

    Hi Slise,

When it finally boots up, did it display any information on its LCD screen? Pressing the power button would help display its info. Last option you can do is to perform OS Reinstall (steps are found here).

    Kind regards,

This model is so old, it doesn't have an LCD screen.  Only 4 lights indicating the hard drives, power...  The hardware is working fine; it's a software thing of simply connecting to the right IP.

Wouldn't an OS reinstall, delete all the data on the drive?

Maybe try removing the network cable from the NAS; rebooting the router; and then reconnecting that cable first.

Is the PC you are running RAIDar on using WiFi or ethernet?

As mdgm says, and OS reinstall will reset the IP address, but won't resolve other possibilities like an full OS partition. (Neither will my suggestion btw).
