Complete newbie - installing old HDD
Just trying to set up my new readynas RND2000. First up, sincere apologies - this is my first ever NAS. Two questions: 1) I am waiting for my free drive from Netgear to arrive, so in the meantim...

I'm "just" using my NAS to share my movies across the house really; so it's not too important if i lose them.
The annoying thing is that I just have that 2TB and that 1TB disk at the moment, so impossible for me to back-up the movies in order to install the 2 disks into the NAS...I guess I'll have to wait a bit...
Also, when you say "external usb"; are you talking about the ones that with or without the power adaptor? Does it make a difference?
