Uint32 - mdgm made a very worthwhile suggestion. After you transfer everything over to the new unit, you will still have the NV+. it would make sense to use it as a backup target for your critical and important data. There is no backup process that is a fast and easy as a NAS to NAS rsync backup. Even though the NV+ is very slow compared to the Pro 6, the rsync process only copies the changed/new data, not the entire file. Most of my rsync backups (4 shares) take less than a minute going from an NVX to an NV+ (NVX is about 30% slower than a Pro 6, but still almost 3x faster than the NV+).
