Data Degraded

Suddenly I get a DATA DEGRADED error on the NAS Drive

What should I do?

Please guide me. I am not a computer person.

    Hello drvikramk,

     

    What's the model number and FW version of your NAS?

     

    You must mean Volume Degraded. The volume is degraded because one or more than one disk has been removed. What that means is that the volume can not recover from another disk failure.  XRAID with single redundancy can only protect against loss of one disk.
     
    Can you describe what exactly happened during the last activity or before this error appeared?
