Device Communication Error: ReadyClould temporarily lost communication #26344390
Hi there,
I just tried to discover my new NAS but I always get a device communication error. If I try to login to the admin page through the offline installation I can't login too (username and password are correct). Any suggestions how I can make my NAS work?

Hello innuready,
Sorry I'm not sure if it is just me or the images isn't really loading.
I have some questions though.
- What is the model number of your ReadyNAS?
- What is the current firmware version?
- Are you able to map the NAS' IP?
- Is this is you initial setup for the NAS that it has no files yet?
- How many disks inserted and what is the size of each?
- Do you have files stored to the disks? If so, do you have full back up?
- Does RAIDar see the NAS?

Through the offline installation you would use the username "admin" (no quotes). You could try the default password too if your one doesn't work.
If you can access RAIDar you could try downloading the logs using that (note it would need to accept your credentials for this to work).
If you can download the logs please send them in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig).
