Duo fan running full speed after upgrade
Hi, I’ve recently upgraded the hard disks in my ReadyNAS duo v1 to 2 x 2GB Seagate ST2000DM001. Since the upgrade, the green fan LED/button has disappeared from RAIDar. When the drives were syncing, ...
Problem fixed.
Replaced fan – I guess the fan failure alerts were correct even if it was only the fan speed signal that had failed.
Then reset with os reinstall and fan control and indicators/tabs have returned.
ReadyNAS running sweet again. It must have been coincidence that the fan failed when the new disks were synchronizing.
