Feedback - ReadyNAS Ultra 4

1) so you store your movies on the USB HDD? USB is a CPU hog. Try storing it on the internal disks of the NAS. Better to use USB disk for backup.
2) Take a look at Create a personal webserver on the ReadyNAS. The share you choose to use as your webserver share is where you'll need to put the files you want to share over the web with no password.
3) If you have issues you could post on the forum and possibly contact the add-on developer if the forum community is unable to come up with a solution.
4) Add-ons use up resources (CPU, memory etc.), but generally only if they are enabled. You can disable an add-on (but still have it installed). So if you have lots of addons installed and enabled or some resource intensive ones it will have an impact. You'll have to test things out.
The Ultra 4 has the slowest CPU of the current x86 range. See http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=499
For those with heavy needs, the Pro 6 is the best option.
