FTPS setup

hi i am trying to setup FTPS on my READYNAS 104

it works find with FTP but can not seem to get FTPS working

i have forwarded port 990 and passive port range on 50001 - 50030 to the NAS IP address what am i misisng

does the READYNAS 104 support SFTP rather than FTPS as it would be more secure.

You need to use explicit SSL signaling in the client ("require explicit FTP over TLS" choice in FileZilla), and of course you need to set the ports appropriately in the NAS.

990 is the default port for implicit SSL signaling, so you'd either need to specify it in the client, or just use port 21.
