Hello,
I have a question about the harddrives outside the Netgear nas.
Im running raid 1 on 2 drives, is it posible to remove one drive and plug it into my computer to access the data (running windows) if so do i need any software?
Thanks in advance!

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou will need software - windows does not recognize the drive format.
Linux Reader works with the v1, I don't know if it also works with the v2. http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/ - DraaxAspirantAwesome, ill replay with the result's thanks a lot in advance!
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserShut down the NAS, especially don't hot-insert after you try this. The NAS will wipe the drive and then rebuild the RAID array if you do that.
- DraaxAspirantHello again and thanks for a quick reply.
I recive an error when i try open "volume 6 (linux RAID partition)" error: Can't open disk: Volume6 RAID partition) Check the disk and try again.
