High CPU After updating to 6.6.1

I have just updated to production 6.6.1 from 6.6.1-T207, All appeared to go fine, but after about an hour I noticed that there appeated to be quite heavy disk usage, monitoring the NAS using TOP showed that the mix of high (97%+)  instance of 'copy' and then the same of 'apt-get', I have left it 12 hours and it's still appears to be doing the same thing, This feels like it might be related to topic "Afetr upgrading to 6.6.1, I'm unable to install an add ops and app" but I dont have AV+ installed, the only apps installed (from memory) are plexmedaserver and logitechmediaserver

So something's wrong with plex.  Are you using it?

If not, maybe just try uninstalling it.

Otherwise you might try downloading the current version from plex.tv and upload it on the web ui's app page.  That might help.  Some users have found they needed to use firefox to get the app install to work.

Watching Top there seems to be a pattern to it, the CPU is quite spikey, what I see is

        CPU Quiet

copy kicks in takes upto 100% cpu for about 7 secs

apt-get kicks in fakes up 100% cpu again for about 7secs

CPU Usage returns to normal for about 5 secs

Then the process repeats, it's pretty much 100% consinstant

Antivirus is now a part of the OS. There is no longer an app to be installed for this.

Though I have no experience with the 6.7 beta I'm getting somewhat paranoid about the impact Antivirus might have on the system and would like to recommend the following:

    - As your Antivirus service currently seems to be disabled, just enable it for 5 to 10 minutes.

    - Then disable that service again and see whether the system is going back to normal cpu-load

Hypothesis is, that upgrading to the 6.7 beta enabled AV without showing its true status on the admin page.

Caveat: There is a risk you will not be able to access the admin page anymore after enabling the antivirus service.  If you can live with the situation you have at the moment, just wait for final fw 6.7 and do not follow the recommended steps.

I am not using 6.7, I went from 6.6.1-T207 (this contains a fix for USB Drives that helped me alol) to the normal production 6.6.1

Then my post applies for your situation, too. Sorry for mixing up the releases.
